Whole Story Audio Books

A brand new audio book operation, selling only unabridged audio books has been launched. Whole Story Audio Books passionately believes that if you want to read a whole book you should be able to listen to a whole audio book too.

Whole Story Audio Books launches with over 1,000 top titles by authors including Ian Rankin, Dan Brown and Marian Keyes, and includes many award-winners such as Costa, Whitbread and Richard and Judy selections. In addition Whole Story Audio is committed to bringing out at least ten new titles every month, making it a major source for the latest and best audio books - and all unabridged.

"We have the strong support of a number of authors who believe that their work should be heard in its entirety," said Shaun Sibley of Whole Story Audio Books. "Whether it is detailed description, scene setting information, dialogue or plot development, we don't believe the author's published work should be cut down by typically 60% just for the sake of getting it onto fewer CD's and keeping the price down."

"People read books for entertainment and information. When it comes to listening to them they should get exactly the same content as the book, professionally narrated to maximise the enjoyment, and not less than half a book edited down by a third party."
