Synopsis

Clay Fitzgerald is an Irish American who had, until recently, been a colonel in the Confederate Army. He escapes to Ireland to take up his inheritance - an inheritance that makes Clay a wealthy man and a landowner.
Unfortunately his arrival in Ireland coincides with the outbreak of civil conflict between wealthy landowners and impoverished farmers. Clay wants to avoid involvement in another conflict but is unable to stand by after witnessing the atrocities inflicted on the ordinary people. Taking the guise of a legendary night-riding outlaw, Clay joins the fight against the landowners and begins a rebellion of his own.
