Synopsis

The man once called Dakeyras is a long way from home. Few left alive know he's the formidable Waylander the Slayer, and Waylander himself has little wish to be reminded. Preparing to move on again, he summons his old friend, the Chiatze merchant Matze Chai to his home.

However, an eerie, chilling mist appears in the ruined, once great Kuan-Hador, leaving only blood soaked earth behind it, while a mysterious magician corrupts the nobility by offering youthful immortality. Waylander stays neutral - until his house is attacked. Allegedly, he's getting old, but his enemies still have an unhealthy habit of dying. Roused to retaliate, he prepares to do what he does best.
