Synopsis

Meredith Mitchell is none too happy to be back in Britain. Life as the British Consul of Yugoslavia was far more fun. Still, she's got the delightful opportunity to live in Oxfordshire, instead of London, and what's more, she's in the vicinity of Chief Inspector Alan Markby.
