“I've been delighted with how my books have been read on CD. Abridging a book deprives you of something and Whole Story Audio Books is clearly the only way to listen.” Adele Geras
Adele Geras was born in Jerusalem in 1944 and spent her early childhood living in Cyprus, Nigeria and North Borneo. She went to boarding-school in England (Roedean School, Brighton) in 1955 and went on to read French and Spanish at St. Hilda's College, Oxford, where she graduated in 1966.
Adele has been an actress, singer and a French teacher before becoming a full-time writer in 1976. Since then, Adele has published more than ninety books for children and young adults. She has also written four novels for adults: Facing the Light, Hester's Story, Made in Heaven and A Hidden Life.
